Bigger heart then brain?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have seen much skinnier, as long as she is eating she will improve. Takes time for the tail to fill back out. When they are starved for too long their stomachs can shrink. So they won't eat as much right away. Her appetite will increase over time as long as there isn't other issues. GL

She seems to be going in the right direction. I really don't want to know all this ray has gone thru. Because the store didn't have her for very long from what I was told.

Glad she is doing better, I'm sure she'll start putting on weight soon

Not to concerned with weight yet. I just wish she would pick a food and stick to it. LOL. I have to go thru my menu until I find something she wants to eat that day. Picky little thing. I know when I am hungry I will eat just about anything but no not her. :banghead: LOL.

go buy live lettuce and float it in the tank do change 20% water use tab water and try to feed her let see how it work,,(this is work everytime that i used to try get ray eat but need to keep only one in small tank than when she starting eating just move bsck to commu tank)

Quick update on this little girl. Everyday she keeps taking more and more food. Not anywhere near what my other rays eat, but it is enough to tell me she is improving.

had the same problem with my ray i breed cherry shrimp so i threw about 40 of those in the tank with about a half portion of black worms and he slowly buy surely came around, now three weeks later i have him on market shrimp and talipia. best of luck.

Well the little girl passed away about a half hour ago. Kind of depressed. Just finnished doing a water change on my other tanks and was heading to hers next. She literally stopped breathing as I was getting setup on her tank. I guess she was just to far gone. She had no disc curl, no dent, nothing. Just stopped breathing.:(

Thanks. Yeah she seemed like she was going in the right direction. She had several good weeks in a tank with freash clean water and no one to pick at her. Sad part is I would still do it all over again if I had to.
