Biggest Bamboo shrimp ever.

That's pretty nuts. We got one of those in that was pretty massive when I was the Aquatic Manager at Petsfart. I always thought it was amusing that the tag for them said 1" max and we would get them in 2" and up. Is that the only one you got?
yea, i got it for my dad's tank but he was scared it would eat his lil neons and stuff, so i put it in my tank.
i read that they can get to like 4.8" and are filter feeders so i hope none of my fish go missing.

They dont really do any harm. They just sit where the current is and grab food out of the stream.
yea i wouldnt think they would but this thing has a really long arm on the front that looks like a spear...and it punched a hole in the bag on the way home.Camshaft Ramrod;2719460; said:
holy good God!i just seen some of these today that looked like this but were called rock shrimp at an lfs but they were only like an inch

The "spear" part opens up and the little sticky fan appendages come out so it can filter.
And the males of that species get bigger than that one, watch! Some of them get huge! I had one that was bigger than most of my crayfish lol
