What? A 13 inch fish is fine in an 18 inch wide 75 gallon. Your telling me a 13 inch Oscar needs bigger than a 75. A 13 inch anything is fine in a 75 gallon as a solo fish. Obviously as it grows it will need a bigger tank, many a professional and experienced cichlid keeper keep 13-14 inch fish in a 75 gallon.
Oh and not the biggest, but here is my 14-15 inch male FH. Sold him and wish I hadn't as he was peaceful and allowed other cichlids in the tank with him.
oh yeah and the tiles on the floor around 12 inch each and its a 14 inch screw driver just to put it into perspective.

these are all great fish, those buttis look super too. my 13 inch female was swallowed by an rtc 2 days before i got them.
by the way...the butti only stands up for himself once in awhile, gets owned and backs off. during feeding time if the butti gets on the dovii side that dovii hits him so hard, it sounds like someone getting punched. tough fish, he keeps taking it.
