biggest CA/SA cichlid on the forum (pics)

So far Kevin's looks the biggest. Without a measuring tape it's tough to judge sizes...
Mine is around 18", but he's pretty beefy. Looks pretty similar to Kevin's male. I just need to figure out how to get a pic of him by a measuring tape.
 
mine is obviously costa rican.
mine is longer and more streamlined compared to the rest.
and i told uthat the tiles on the fillor are 12".
and its nearly impossible for him to stay still without breaking somethin

Nice John, but you are disqualified due to them being Africans...lol You must have a BB or some vieja, or a jag or how about a pbass....Technically they would count......

I agree, there's no question about it. When fish get big maybe we should use weight as well as length.
 
every cichlid keeper knows that cichlids get thicker when they get bigger even slim cichlids like crenicichlas ,thats why i wasn't sure the dovii is 20 " compared to others 18" that were much ticker ,but still i don't say that someone is lying in this thread

You guys have done an awesome job with all of these fish. WIsh I could keep one. I was amazed that the Butti's were over 12 inches. I've always read and been told they get 12 or so not 17! Thats awesome.

The Dovii are beautiful
