Nice 450 gallon tank chen I'm upgrading from a 360 to a 450 gallon some time this summer.

It is kind of interesting you mention Myleus schomburgki I have got two right now and they have been breeding ( male milting eggs for the last three weeks) in my 360. I'm not expecting babies until I can move them to their own tank.

There is a hobbyist in the Woodstock area of Ontario Canada (Bill Gibbons) that raised one to 24" in a period of only about 4 to 5 years (but only one that fast).

Arapaimag

That is awesome except that is definitely not normal for most keepers.

Chen that is a good looking jumbo datnoid and tank you have got and I have got datnoid of similar size.

As far as documenting the breeding of the Black Belts all I can document is the breeding behavior on the weekends as I'm enrolled in classes at UC Davis during the weekdays. I'm posting what I'm observing on a thread on the Piranha forums if your interested.
