Really bud im surprised at that,mines at 13" now and hes a sight to behold so god knows what that 2 footer at the top looks like in real life!!!

The Steinharte Tiger Fish I saw I recall was a bit bigger than that however not by much, that one looks to be in the about 15-20 pound range if my estimate is accurate. The fish looked huge, it was alone in a 400 gallon tank with nothing in it and still looked gigantic.

The way Datnoids grow I would guesstimate and say that fish is probably 40 years old or plus.

Here's my 17"....He is in a 450gal with some rays and swimming mate at 17" Super Red Aro.

In tank with one of my kids...the others inside his stomach! LOL...Just kidding!!!

Tank's 24" high so you can get the ratio for sizing

There is a hobbyist in the Woodstock area of Ontario Canada (Bill Gibbons) that raised one to 24" in a period of only about 4 to 5 years (but only one that fast).

He then sold it to Dragon Aquarium in Mississauga where it was displayed and easily measured (tape to tank). It was not pretty just huge.
