Biggest pure Red Devil? post pix

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Here's my guy, I was told when I bought him that he was a true Red Devil bred from a pair that were purchased from Rapps, he tolld me the whole story about how true Red Devils are hard to find in LPS and most have some kind of Midas mixed in them, but I did'nt think RD's got nuchal humps as big as mine, athough he is much longer and not as deep bodied as most Midas I've seen.

Thanks, he's in a 55G and as you can see in the pics he pretty much touches the glass on both sides of the tank when he's turned sideways, I know he needs a bigger tank!

that fish is amazing...love the hump too...one of the best ive seen

That's a gorgeous fish wiseman82, but it's a Midas (citrinellus). It is possible that by "Red Devil" the guy actually meant a pure citrinellus since the common name RD is sometimes used for both citrinellus and labiatus. He may have just had his story mixed up.

If it makes you feel better, you can send that cit to me and I'll send a nice lab your way!.........(I'm only partially kidding!)

nice red devils
