Biggest pure Red Devil? post pix

quick question im thinking of either getting a red devil or jaguar cichlid is one a better fish to start with and what size will i need for a single fish ? And can i add another fish with either of these or just keep it seperate? thanx

I'd recommend a jag, solely because they have cooler color markings (in my opinion). definitely a bare minimum 75 gallon for either a RD or Jag. you wanna go 125 or bigger if you're gonna give him a buddy. of course the bigger the party, the bigger house you'll need.
