those are crazy prices. normally here, adults of a couple of inches go for 100-200, depending on wildcaught or bred.

there not supposed to be wildcaught anymore. they dont get very big 3" or so, and dont eat algae, so they prob werent the pleco you were after anyway

Zebra's are not wild caught, and cost a little too much to just put in a pond. Mine has a 20 gallon all to himself, and a fluval 404 on the tank to keep it well filtered.
