I've seen this video, definitly an old specimen. I couldn't guess its size without knowing the size of anything around it. And I believe they are said to max at 2' but we get the runts.
Yeah I think 12" sl is the norm, pretty dodgy to rely on maybe, especially here in the UK, who knows what stock we get, I guy commented on one of my YouTube videos stating his pal has two over 18"!

Sold off the dovii and vieja from my tank this weekend, bought a black arowana too though eek.
Giraffe cats haven't grown much, I have a feeling they are macrostoma, probably take an age to grow!
