Dude i never get to see any of your fish thax for posting.
Love that cat. Was thinking about trading in the vulture for one. How fo you think it would fare long term with a juruense ? Whats it like...active/hider ?
I post photos from time to time but I only have my phone camera and I lack the patience that is required to get really good shots.
The lancer pretty much minds it's business and never quarrels with my dats for the few hiding spots that are in the tank.I am not sure how it might behave towards another catfish.I might be placing it with my black eared pangasius pretty soon but I don't expect them to try and hang out with the lancer.
It is pretty active throughout the day but I usually don't have the hood lights on so that may play a part in it's activity level.
It is about six inches and I ordered it from Monster Aquarium back in November,I think.It has a small mouth but it sucks up massavore pellets like there's nothin to it lol.
Seems like it could possibly end up in the jurs belly when the jur is fully grown ?
That depends on who is the fastest grower.The lancer can grow to over a foot in length.

I would be the one that would need to relocate fish if need be. I do have plenty of tanks but want to get down to 2 decent sized tanks and shut the other down.
Reason why im asking is i have a juruense and was concerned if a full grown jur would try and make a snack out of the lancer. Something i probably not put to the test.
