Bit disappointed today as Someone's had his whiskers...
Just gotta work out who, my fourline had one bit in half a week back as did one nemurus, both of the vultures have been shredded over night...
My main suspects are the other nemurus who oddly has perfect whiskers, the 5-6" rtgg or possibly the afer knife during the night?
None of the cichlids pay much attention at all to the cats, black aro doesn't either, doubt the plecs could or would....
What you reckon?
Hard to say. I'd post a separate thread and complete stock with sizes.

I saw the vid. I don't think they were chewed, for the vultures atleast. I've had cats whiskers appear that way when first adjusting to my tank. Look at my Trachy thread. I always thought it was possibly a ph thing. I've had it be so severe with cats that their skin would even start to look like it was rotting. I always thought I just had a lot of dw in my tank. They always adapated and grew back normally.

Well hopefully that's the case dude, the previous owners tank was discusting tbh, Oscars with hith and 30 other medium fish all in a 4ft 150g...
Maybe like you say the pH was so different, the others could be down to random acts of aggression between them I guess not that I've seen any.

These guys are growing very well, not so find of each other now and reside at opposite ends of the tank, both 8-9" from 5-6" mid July so 3" in 7 weeks.
First pic July.

Well small update, the vulture kept losing his whiskers so I thought it best to move him on, swapped him for a 16-17" irwini, gorgeous chunky guy!-) grab some pics later.
