Damn ive been m.i.a the past few weeks missed this. Sorry the vulture didnt work out. Had some iasues with my cats too. Jur got xhomped on by one of the polys

Yeah I agree, I had one a while back that I aquired from a dirty 85g, he was 10" and never grew, I think like id sharks they stunt very easily, either that or different locations have massively different max sizes.

from my understanding they grow painfully slow. DB junkie DB junkie had one for a while grew pretty big. maybe he can share the growth of what time period
 
The ones I have are supposed to be a MF pair. Aquired from the "Omalley" collection many years ago. They were supposed to be around 10 years old when I aquired them. The larger is aroun d 20"

Growthrate seems to be very dependent on how happy they are in thier tanks. IF happy and coming out to eat regularly they can grow pretty quick. Put them with mean fish and they never come out then they can be VERY slow growers.....
