I would swap it for your trachy in a heartbeat dude lol, tbh it doesn't really do much.
I love how it looks and in the 300 it patrolled around on day one and I thought he was awesome, then on day two he just sat in its chosen spot, and day 3+. it just stays in its cave in the 90 now only coming out for its mussels and then it's only to the mouth of its pipe, I'm guessing he will get more confident with size.
So on a whole I'm not overly impressed atm, and he cost £150 so what +-$170!!

Most of the fish I'm into do that lol, nothing I'm not used to. And hey that's better than the 200 I see them listed for here
Lol, he may well grow on me... I'm probably still p***ed he ate my 6" spanner barb and knocked my shoal back to 6... Sod regurged him to so I still had to feed the twat lol.
How big do the nemurus get ?
So far its the jur, vulture, 3 jaguar cats 2 vieja heterospilus, spotted raph and senegal. Only the jur, vulture ans maybe jags will go in the new 300 though along with the p.o.s pearsei.

Yes. T'was a kind of piebald channel catfish, the only fish that's not mine in that series. They are very rare but aren't worth anyone's foot 
I am afraid the two nemurus won't be nice to each other and it will get worse with size and age. My nemurus appears ok with the ARTC in 4500 gal but they have room to get out of each other's face.
Nemurus supposed to get to 2' but we get junk ones, culls from farming. Mine's been 12" for the last 5 years.
Apurensis is not an active catfish by any means. It's formidable-looking, sedentary, slow, and quirky but swims little. It needs not to. Even its swimming resembles walking on pectoral and pelvic fins.
