never found whats the difference but looks like you have pulchers... They are with brichardis but seem to have more color.
Unless you have a nice spot they can have in the 125 I would'nt put them in. the bigger fish will get most if not all the food and prob beat em up. If you want to control breeding, get a nice syno cat like multipunctatus or petricola, they'll eat em up.
I'd seriously go #2 (either make the 29 it or go with 40-55) and add some comps/calvus, 1-2 syno cats and maybe some tetracanthus. just keep it Tangy

I like the syno cat idea. I believe the LFS has some now. I do not wish to be over run by these guys.

I found a web page today discussing Brichardi and it sounded like the wild ones are a more brown/tan color...maybe the silver/white brichardi are basically a captive strain?

Those are N. pulcher, same family as brichardi. Pulcher has gill plate marking that look like two Cs ... CC. Brichardi gill plate markings look like a T on it's side. Pulcher act just like brichardi when breeding, they destroy all other fish ... all the fish in the brichardi family are like that.
it should be fine inside the mnuba. but mixing mnuba and tangs together is never usually advisable! even if they are both mouth brooders. but they still may act hostile and take part of the tank! because you say you wont breed them you wont be able to say hey no breeding! they will if they want to!
