Bit by your fish?

I got bit by a wolf fish that I had awhile back. I was trying to hand feed him. It worked for along time then he misjuded the distance and nailed my finger. He was only around 7 inches but damn what a gash he left.
 
Oh my, I could imagine. Some wolf fish are pretty mean and have good size teeth. WHy did you get rid of him?
 
This was along time ago when I kept alot of tank's. I've cut way down since then and made life easier, but a little less fun.
 
I've been bitten by many of our fish at the science center where I work. The only one that really hurt was a 15" flounder. They have some nice teeth! It got my pinky finger when I was reaching in to feed one of the spider crabs. I had a couple nice holes in my finger that bled for a little while. I've been bitten by our remora too, but it just tickled. Most of the other fish have bitten me at some time but I don't remember because it never really hurts. Thankfully I have not been bitten by our snowflake eel or the puffer fish...
 
i am thoroughly ashamed to admit this....my 6inch parrot fish...i always hated her anyway and then one day when i was cleaning the tank and had to move something she just went full speed ahead (not sure if she bit me or just rammed me, coz they cant close their mouths) in to the back of my hand. it was like a little electric shock, kinda like a hamster bite, just wasnt expecting it.
so i take my hand out the tank and its BLEEDING iv now got a little scar still lol and the fish died shortly after......
 
Great stories so far. Keep them coming. I think parrot fish look goofy because of their open mouths.
 
some times some of my peaceful fish poke..

My friend who got me into fishkeeping years ago used to keep pirhana and he got a good bite from one that only had one eye.I like to handfeed my sharks to make sure they get equal ammounts and I get nipped quite often as they snatch food from my fingers.

she was EVIL :irked: pure pure evil! i used to sit in front of her tank watching her :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn: as she would ram the glass and u could actually hear her beak on glass was f****d up! i would never get another, but she was quite pretty in a weird way
