I am no expert at all but I think you might have a little mono in your ocell. It seems to be getting more difficult to get a true mono or true ocell. Still some nasty fish man. I love those monos. Congrats on a great collection.

Ammonia burns are caused when the amount of waste in the water is not taken care of. I suggest you up your waterchanges to every 2-3 days. Your fish will be much happier and will look and be a lot healthier.

You can determine this by fish having pink fins or look very stressed with lots of dark/gray on the body where it shouldn't be.
