it sounds like the turtle took a bite of the fish... if its a feeder fish why not just leave it in there and let the turtle finish his job? why worry if it will grow back, when you bought it for the sole purpose of being a feeder?

c'mon you guys, the fish and the turtle are friends. why would the turtle ever take a bite out of its friend?
You know that when you put fish in a tank with somthing that eats fish....fish are going to be eaten right? If you put a bunny in with a tiger they dont play checkers.
I seem to remember you saying you were not going to keep fish with your turtle...everyone said you shouldnt and you swore you wouldnt but some how Mr. Minnow lost his tail and you have bluegills and others in there to! I have a feeling you will post several mosre posts after this like, "Can Bluegills Grow Their Eyes Back?" "How come my favorite fish is missing?" "Why does my fish swim upsidedown and have his guts draging behind him?"

i'm wondering if the tail will grow back or not..he's a FEEDER but i still don't like to see it suffer a long time.

Wow this is kinda like my puppy dog when I was a kid. It was playing in the street and it's head got squished, to this day I still don't know what squished it's head?
BTW the puppy's head did NOT grow back. Sorry guys I know this story isn't fish related but it seemed to be on the same level.

poor jeae21--you sure do catch alot of shi*, but always come back with more questions.. gotta give it to ya, you are determined to learn... so keep asking questions! we were all once very new to fishkeeping...
btw a whole tail wont grow back--id leave the little guy in the tank and let the turtle finish his work.. that way he's put out of his misery...

yeah i just had to dangle he minnow infront of Cola...his whole tail was off...
now i realized that one of the goldfish has the top tail fin off but is swimming pretty fine. will those grow back? i found out since at first he was in the corner..
