Dude if I where you, I'd adopt those fishes. Maybe you can have your own hospital tank at home and help the fishes to recover. If you healed the fish, maybe you can sell them to other fish hobbyist or have them as your own.

If a customer points one out, the worker will catch the fish and put it in one of the hospital tanks with melafix to try to heal it. They never smash fish against walls, lol.

I don't agree with it either, but i know one thing they die instantly.... i just do as im told, doesn't mean i think its right, and id take in those sick fish... but i don't have room for them, and with all the different requirements, we sell salt brackish fresh etc, its not cheap or practical to take in all those fish....

Throwing them hard against a surface isn't any less humane than killing them any other way. It kills them instantly. Furthermore, I'll bet there isn't a law against it.
 
Its legal, why would throwing them against a wall be any different than killing your wild catches? You cut their heads off... seems more brutal, i know throwing them seems like a brutal way to go... but my LFS doesn't have time nor resources for other more "humane" ways i suppose id rather get it over with, than have to watch and wait as the fish slowly gets euthanised in a clove oil bath... thats just me though
