I recently saw a pic of these and thought "wow, those things are awesome" :headbang2

What exactly are they? f0? f1? (just recently learned what those are xD) Are they just an odd coloration of a tiger oscar? Different kind of oscar? They're pretty awesome and I'd love to get my hands on one :)

Do you have any pictures of them? We'd like to have a better idea of what in the name of mud you're talking about. It would be nice if you could share some pics. Thanks.

I think I read somewhere that it was a "cross breeding of colors"? I don't know, but I think it's the coolest thing in the world :headbang2

I think they are wild caught. Orinocco or Peru type. Saw some at my LFS for $18.00 for 2.5" little guys. The color seems to be a very dark green as opposed to a true black. Made me consider trading in my Midas for one of these guys.

Not a cross breed......Wild Oscars look like the one pictured above........The price for these normally go around $10-20 for a 2 inch individual, well worth the investment...........I purchased a pair that looked exactly like the one pictured $120.......Both fish were 10-12 inches lip to base of tail.................
