Black Arowana--whats so good about them?

Personally I think jars have better color then lei and an Asian would make any Australian arowana look bad. I think you underestimate the attitude of the lei but time will tell.
 
i would not sqay an asian makes an aussie pale. three magnificente different breeds, they are..
 
sunpoe, give it a rest bro... i will never own another jardini. ever. to me they look like regular lake fish. they beat up everything. if my lei ends up mean, so be it... but whatever tankmats i throw in will live with the lei no matter what. thats why im starting it off young. if he gets mean then cool, if he dont then cool.

regardless, jardinis or leichardtis have nothing to do with this thread.

Ask my Planiceps cat. He just ate my 12" black.:irked:

IMO they just flat out look better than silver aros. They have WAY more color
and to me just look more graceful than any silver that i ever had.

we could agree on something, if you didnt dissagree with everything i post. especially calling me out about a leichardti in a black arowana thread jus cuz i stated "i can't see myself paying so much for a fish so similiar to another" when even tho i bought a leichardti, i didnt "pay so much" for a fish that was similiar. i paid like 40 bux more compared to a black arowanas price tag of over 270 more but still looks way more similiar to the silver then a lei does to a jardini.
