we i paid like 40 bux more compared to a black arowanas price tag of over 270 more but still looks way more similiar to the silver then a lei does to a jardini.

Ethnics I do not agree with your statement that a black is closer to a silver than a leichardti to a jardini...Not to open a debate about that, though:)

tell me why u dissagree. and tell me how blacks are nothing like silvers and how leis are everything like a jardini? other then the fact that leichardtis basically dont even exist and jardinis are a dime a dozen?

and sunpoe, i honestly now hate you. i dont understand you. i never said leis are better then jardinis, nor did i say silvers are better then blacks. i like all the species of arowanas no matter what.

Dude you know what I honestly feel bad that you "hate me". I know we have had are disagreements but in no way do I want you to "hate me". I am sorry that I called you out on the Lei thing and for being sarcastic. You do bring up an interesting perspective on things and you are not afraid to speck your mind. I wish we could see eye to eye but that is life................ We do have I one thing in common we both are passionate about are fish. Truly I am sorry for annoying you I will try my best not to anymore.

Chill guys, both Aro guys, both passionate and argumentative in the good sense.

Ethnics, black aro's are more beautifull ( albeit less imposing), with their yellow fins and somewhat different body shape. Their behaviour is totallly diferent ( at least in my experience ) to silvers..again less imposing, but also less tendency to be skittish and nervous.
Even when silverish, the sheen has nothing to do with silver's silver..Size is not the same, also.

have no DE as opposed to silvers.

Saratogas are, imo, much more alike. Same size, same "temper" ( I know you do not agree on this ), small difference in the barbels, different markings in the scales.

Jar 's are a dime a dozen where you live ( I would buy, asap, some thousands ) not everywhere. Here they are expensive.

I cannot tell you about the scarcity of Leichardi's. Perhaps they are scarce. Only saw one live. One I ordered from Germany a couple of years ago...

i dont wanna say i dissagree with you when you say "more beautiful" as all aros are beautiful in there own magnificent way. silvers are gorgous in the way there bodys are so thick, and the large size brings beauty as well. DE does occur but when it does, it kinda looks natural to there oversized obeis body shape as it gets older. but you do point out great features about the black aro i did not kno about. not so skittish at a young age? because silvers are mainly skittish at the young age only ime. and i am very very aware that leichardtis do get close to the same temper. i hear hey do chase, they are jus not determined to kill like a jardini is. ive seen that first hand time n time again and i can't even believe how determined jardinis are to make someonelse's life miserable.

and sunpoe, i guess i shouldn't have used the word hate. its such a harsh word but i dislike ur sarcasm when i was trying to be serious and i disliked how you called me out on the lei vs jardini in a thread that had nothing to do with either species... its life, ill get over it.

And again sorry, I really don't mean to single you out in arguments, I can see how it might come off that way. But I definitely not here to piss you off or anyone else for that matter.

:ROFL:Sorry, just so funny to me....:D Ethinics and Sunpoe.....Just so CUTE how you make up and break up. Anyhow, just made me giggle.:grinno: On a serious note, both of you guys got great info to share....it's just both have bias opinions. I agree I think it is extremely difficult to debate on personal preference and additionally I think debate on personal preference should be utterly and entirely avoided, especially in forum when everything you state is "set in stone". You can state your point...but it should be cut short of "hate" and "wrong" and substituted with "disagree" and "your opinion here". I don't think anyone should appologize for their own preferences...and I got mad respect for everyone here btw. :headbang2

Everyone has an opinion, if they feel stongly about it they are often mistaken for arguing or flaming. I know I've agreed and disagreed with many, just can't take it personal.

Can only imagine how boring this site would be if everyone just posted...:iagree:
