I feed them market prawn and frozen blood worm. Hopefully the spots stay round and not forming any rings.
Stay away from blood worms. They are poor in nutrients. Try to break them in on pellets and feed as an staple then vary the feedings with prawns, mussels and white fish like pollock and herring. But be careful with herring as it tends to put an high load on your filtration.

Hmm.. Didn't know that they love mussels as well. What is the best pellet? And how to convert it?

I prefer hikari cichlid gold sinking and northfin carnivore, jumbofish and krill gold. To break them on to pellets you bulk them up first with what they eat the best. Then you mix pellets in with that food when its thawing so the pellets starts tasting what they like already. Do that untill they eats the pellets mixed with the frozen then you gradually decreases the frozen food untill they eat pellets. It can take some time so be patient. When they have tasted pellets its usually dont take to long before they eat pellets.
