Black Diamonds!!!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They are currently in my tank and came from Mike with H20 as Black Diamonds. I have standard leo's and these are not the same. Although I don't consider these nice black diamonds- I also don't consider these Leo's. I used a 3 mega pixel camera to quickly snap a photo so Mrdee would know exactly what I was referring to when I said I didn't consider them special rays.

I like them both. Especially the second one. Love the large spots. I have 4 rays from mike labeled bd/leo. I would say bd/leo for both of yours and very nice quality.

nice rays!
Thank you- Although I don't consider their markings anything extrodinary at least they are active, busy and healthy. The belly spotting is moderate and the perimeter spotting isn't what it should be for a high class BD,but the spot size on the one is huge-which helps and my ancient I-phone camera doesn't pick up the coloration or contrast very well(some people still have an I-phone 3 you know:) I am not sure what the "official" technical details are for a True BD but this is what he sent and represented as Bd's.

The ray in my avatatar went to the person i bought it from as a bd from mike also but I know he isn't pure. Mike did this to a lot of people.

Sent from my TC970 (Wi-Fi) using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

Thanks!

The most important thing is that YOU like the rays, period!

My question is how can you not see that at least the one is 100% Leo with no visible Black diamond traits?? Why not post some more pictures of what your calling a normal Leo in your tank and then these which your saying look different. I bet they are the same look.

Umm true but also you should be getting an honest person to deal with and not pay huge money for something that it really is not. Like buying a VW beetle as your new Porsche

Looking at a fish's disc spotting is the easiest way of telling what you are dealing with.

Normal leo = no disc spotting.

BD x leo. Some disc spotting. May lose some/all as they grow.

Pure BD. The pic says it all.
