Def agree with breeding the dubias, thats what i feed mine..crickets are soo disgusting and noisy. Im not sure what all you know but since youre open to advice i would get rid of that carpet. It gets gross very quickly and catches on nails and even teeth if they miss their target..

What am I suppose to use as a substrate and what in the hell are dubias and where can I get them?

I have to disagree with using calcisand. Its not safe esp with a baby dragon. If they're lacking calcium they've been known to just eat the calcisand and it will cause probs if enough is ingested. Slate tile looks nice, is easy to clean and holds warmth so that's what I usually recommend.

Wow! I've never heard of them actually eating the sand to get more calcium. They definitely doesn't sound safe. Learn something new everyday!

Yes..I think I got mine at lowes. Don't get ceramic or anything like that with a coating. Just plain slate/stone. I think I got a box for around $7
