Isnt there a pic somewhere here on MFK with the gars black slime coat is actually rubbed off by a fishmans glove?

Here are some updated pics of the blk gar. He is starting to look even better know that its not stressed. His belly is blk and white speckeled with a blkish gold line running down the bottom part of him. He is already eating on live guppies. I loaded the tank down with feeders for the cichlas and the gar went nuts too. I will keep you all updated with pics. Im really starting to believe this is a black gar.

He has been black for 4 days. I dip netted him late Monday night in the everglades, his nose was already skint up when I caught him. When I seen him swimming with all the other gars he stood out. I missed the first three times, then I seen him alone and I slowley dipped him up. It was blk at night with a spot lite, on him and caught my eye like a gold gar would of. It was just totaly different looking then the others. Like I said he is starting to look real nice. His nose will heal with in days.
