BLACK GATF. Cash in HAND !!!!!!!

Ok kids I've gone off the deep end. I'm still in the game and I'm going for the rarest thing possible. (well almost)

I want a BLACK GATF Yes that's right. A Black GATF. they do exist. I have 10K cash in hand ready to go. So one must know where one of these are. to help I'll toss in any collection info I know about them. And pics.



Ok the pics are taken from a book titled. The Largest Tigerfish in the World: The Goliath.

From what the book says they are only found in the Black river. it is a small river that feeds into the congo. It is unknown if they are a color morph, different spieces or if they are black due to there water conditions (possibly acidic?)

But I WANT ONE. I've gone nuts after lossing my other GATFs so I figure I'll go for broke.

I here that Japan might have had a few in the hobby but that's only what I here through the grapevine. But no pics have emerged from the stories.

Best of luck Koop! Dont EVER give up your search! Your fish is out there somewhere, and just think how great it's going to feel once it's swiming in your own tank! They always say the harder the work the greater the reward! This is truly a spectacular looking fish!

I suspect this so call black GATF is a camoflage effect under a dark environment, every fish display such characteristics for self defense.

I have not seen a black gatf, so I can't say for sure, this is all what I beliff to be.

If I am you I would spend this monie trying to get a tiger pup or a champion dog or a servel cat.

I am a strong believer in a fish is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. There are plenty of fish that cost alot more than this based on a colour variation. My family think I am nuts for paying the amount I have spent even on the relatively cheap fish I have. I have paid large amounts of money on some of my fish and will continue to do so because 'I' believe they are worth it. I under stand peoples doubts about the likelyhood of this fishes existence. I would throw Black Panthers as an example of this type of evolution. It's not impossible is it?
