Black GATF

had these 3 GATFs for around 6-7months now,got them at 4-5inches,around 8-9inches now
one of them had always been a darker colour instead of the normal silver like the other two
black GATF? ;) 'dreaming....'

one of the goliaths takes chopped fish,the vittatus takes foodsticks and mp
the other 2 goliaths only take live.
Lets wait for the experts to chime in
 
That's VERY interesting. I though that it was environmental conditions that caused GATF to be darker from certain river systems.

BTW, defo GATF.

What sized tank are they in? I would have thought they would have killed each other of kept together. Thats been my experience of keeping vittatus anyway.

My GATF takes flake and Hikari cichlid gold mini pellets (pre soaked to soften them).

The tanks 5ft by 1.5ft by 1.5 ft
Occupants are 3 gatf,1 vatf,2 odoe pike,1 scomberoides and 2 silver dollars.
 
Hmm very cool man... I'm changing up my stock soon and am really thinking about going with one single GATF in my 180.... and tips you can give me?And now that I get a better look definitely GATF!

There was a member here who was really on a hunt for a black tigerfish a few years ago.I can't remember his username but he had Ohio as his location and was willing to pay good coin for one.
