Black Ghost Knife (accidentally)

So by circumstance I have two black ghost knifes in my 125. Wasn’t meant to be a permanent solution, but it worked so I kept them. A friend passed away and didn’t want to give it up.
I went to clean out one of my canister filters and found a baby black ghost knife living in it. I say baby, it’s about three inches long now. Anyone here ever breed BGK’s? Totally unexpected but extremely cool. From my research, very rare.

Update-
My breeder box came and I was able to get all the babies out of both filters. This time 13 survived. Some of them are so tiny that they have no color yet.

Wow! Wow! Wow! That's so awesome. If that's a Marina Breeding Box they are tiny. What are you feeding them?

Can you do me a favor and get a group of Amazon puffers and banded leporinus, then breed them too?

Brine shrimp, blood worms and a little beef hearts. I watch them eat it so I figure it’s working. The beef hearts and blood worms are what I feed in my tank so they should be use to it from the filter sucking it in.

Suggestions from whom you my friend are the only of 2 people I know of having Black Ghost Knife spawn in captivity. So imo you are the experienced one lol.

It's absolutely cool imo. It's not luck but the knives like the ideal environment you created for them.
