What about an Albino Senegal for a contrast...same size as the normal, but it would be a total contrast to the BGK...

BTW, thanks for the heads up, I was about to go get an ornate for my 90 gallon set up this week-end(about 4"), after reading this post, I'm holding out for a Delhezi, it would make a great tank mate for my Senegal (about 11" last I checked) and albino (about 6") I already own...

I lost my other albino during the move to the 90-stressed itself to death me thinks, was porpoising (or breaching-swimming on her tail?!) wildly the night before she died...:(

No problem. :) Also, I agree that an albino senegal would look awesome with a BGK too.

synodontis petricola are kinda small. BGK's get big enough and have big enough mouths that they will eventually eat your little catfish.

I can't imagine a BGK at any size eating anything larger than a swordtail. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, anybody.

i said it's possible.. i know i wouldn't endanger my little goofballs. i just can't take that chance.

BGK aren't aggresive the only reason they would eat one is if they thought it was food. My BGK of 11+inches hasn't touched my peppered corys or my colombian tetras, including a runt tetra that was no bigger than a neon. As for the BGK contrasting with albino senegal, I have both in the same tank but due to BGK being nocturnal I haven't been able to see that. Although the contrast between my senegal and EBJD is awesome.

I am setting up a 75 gallon (4' x 16"x 24") now. I'll be moving my 8 angel fish, 6 clown loaches, one EBJD and one Lemon Oscar into that tank. Could I add a black ghost knife? All my fish are still small, 4 inch clown loach is the biggest.

Im setting up a 115ish tank, 51x22x22, for my Fahaka Puffer and Im wondering if a BGK would be a suitable tank mate? I do know that puffers can be aggressive but Ive seen people with them having neons and stuff like that, so im curious about a BGK. Mine lives with ghost shrimp and otos right now

nothing to aggresive...my knife is vert docile so aggresive fish would stress them out

they stick to themselves and usually come out for food
i hardly see mine ...that must be why they ghost knifes:ROFL:
have fun with your knife and play safe:D
