Black Ghost with ICH

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
there are 4 jeuvaniles in a 50. I know 50 isnt ideal, but i am working on a larger setup about 256g. the plan is to move them into a larger living space once they reach about 7 to 8 in.
I ask because I have two in my 125 and at least two (that’s all I have seen at a time) in each of my canister filters. I have at least four that are less than one centimeter long. Lol
This is the second time they have bred in my 125 community tank and I ended up with canister babies.
waiting on a breeding tank that hangs on the side of my tank before I can get these out.

Thats my dream lol. They are such a beautiful and elegant fish, and despite being a predator are very friendly. friendly enough to eat from the hand. I originally wanted to do crustaceuns until i found ghosts. What changed my mind about fish. I know Im behind atm on size, but its actually very difficult finding online or at lfs, tanks bigger than 50g in Japan. At least that's my exp so far. I ended up having to look for a lfs that does custom orders =~=

Both my adults will eat out of my hand.
The first time I found babies there were only two. They obviously came from different spawns and there was a huge difference in size. Now I look out for them.
Yours will be fine in the tank you have for a while.
Having a plan is what matters
