Black gravel provides great contrast!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I never liked blue. The pink is hot though! LOL

Gee thanks guys. One more thing for me to decide on now.

I was all ready to go natural until reading this thread. :nilly:

Anybody have a picture of a tank with blue background, black gravel and an oak cabinet? :)

Depends on your setup, I love my natural setups too, but that black is amazing. If your fish are yellow, or have yellow, go with black.

My setup is blue background with Oak cabinet and canopy. Anybody think the black would be too dark for the oak?

A couple more pics of my black gravel tank:

Because of MFK and you too ewurm, I just went out and bought some black Tahitian moon sand, my tank has been cycling for quite a while now with established filter media and some bio booster, another week or two and i'll test the parameters, it should be ready soon ! I also used a black background to keep with the black theme, I can't wait to see the fish in there!
