black jardini

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had a Baby jar in my black backround grow out in a not well light room for 3 months. when I move it to a larger tank with lighting it was Really dark, not as dark as this one. Since aros can be white tank treated, why cant black tank treatment work too

^ no it wouldnt, that treatment doesnt turn them into a real genetically platinum fish. If you realize its being white tank treated, that means its a normal silver aro someone is trying to scam another into buying as a platinum.

Thats interesting though

not saying the treatment work long term but to get that affect it can. I would love a Black gene Jardini

Looks like a stressed sick fish. Probably died and is the reason the OP hasn't posted here again since originally posting the pics 7 and a half years ago.

One of my lfs are trying black water treatment on there jardini atm , its gettin real dark , but they won't listen to me once its in a normal tank normal colour will resume after time , they just seem to think you can produce a forever black jar from putting it in a blackout tank whilst ita growing (idiots makes me wonder how they manage to run that shop sometimes :) )

Dunno how you got a hold of that man even in Aus the Black jars are going for 1k+
this one just sold for around 1200 here around a week ago.
