My PIMA is still black =-( .... eats fine, just still black... any suggestions to get i's regular color back ?

i wonder if it were in a light colored tank ( it looks like a black background) it would lighten him up ???

jk did the colorchange seem to take place overnight or was it a gradual process? what coloration was he normally? he may just be a black pima!

..... when I picked him up he was a regular color. The next day after putting him in my tank he turned dark. He actually had the red spots on his tail already =-( ... that's what I liked about him....
Joey, if he is eating alright and looks healthy then I wouldn't do anything. There isn't really anything you can do anyway. Just make sure no one is picking on him to stress him out and maybe check your water parameters. I know your water is prestine, but you never know. He looks really good by the way.
When did you get that guy? That's awesome. It looks cool, but I know what you mean about the normal color looking better. Good Luck with it!
