Black or Leichardti ?

i dont know if you should actually keep an aro in that tank or not.i would say no but its solely your decision but i do like that charachin in you avatar.amazing fish
 
dam 2 years 20" thats slow for silver shoulda out grown ur tank
 
did you clean the tank like once a month?
 
For the record.....Feeding occurred daily, or once every two days mostly krill and dry food (no feeders, beefheart, etc.); 40% water changes every 10 days, checked out water levels all time. (The fact that all the other fish are healthy, active and growing is a solid argument, since dats and juraense require almost flawless water parameters)
I didn't make any decision if I will get another aro or not, but I will definetly appreciate more info from someone who owns/raised a lei , because I'm not familiar with this aro's habits . (I read most of the posts on this forum, but they were directed on mostly how to differentiate one from a jardini)
 
i feed mines a variety of food and 50% water changes once a week it grew from 5-6" too 17" in 8-9 month
 
my lei i bought 4" now 7" i just feed it mealworm,blackworm,MP it grows pretty fast and just like every other arowana but grows faster too me
 
there like jardinis but less aggressive, my lei is with another 7" lei,25 bichirs,20 clown loaches my aro dont fight it just depends on each fish
