Black payara

That's a thought about the color but not yet proven. No way to prove without scale counts. The darker army has been brought in for some years now but very few. Everyone thought just stressed or color variant. Just need to connect the dots.

There was a member with a regular Armatus and then the dark one. There were some differences with the tail and things but it's no specific.

They should max around 12-14 inches.

Post pics and hopefully it's a nice find.

If they new it was a wallacie they would be telling you and selling it for more as they are super rare... and also tough to differentiate... C Chicxulub you will be needed

To clarify wallacei 95 scale count and Armatus are over 100. My memory isn't what it used to be lol

This is why i think its an armatus.....but they had said there was only 1 on the list so who knows......i also thought armies usually came in mid late summer and come in bunches
 
Black payara could be just a scomb. Post some pix when you can
