What's so disappointing about a scomb? I had a large group of them and absolutely loved them! I've kept a lot of different payara's and there isn't one bad thing I can say about any of them

Theres nothing wrong with them but id rather have any other species.......scombs are like red bellies in the piranha world
 
They die once they hit 12 inches in most home aqauriums. Unfortunately.
 
true, also isnt it true scombs have a lifespan of like a year?
I had a group of 3 that I got extremely small, ~2-3". I kept them for 3.5years before I sold them and they were about 11-12" at the time. They're still alive today and I sold them two years ago.
 
Not the norm but been the trend. Inelegant they get to A foot they go bye bye.
