Yes thank you guys for your feedback, I love how helpful everyone is on this site! The 75 is up and running, has been fully cycled for several months, it is just missing a heater, and a light strip. But those won't be hard to acquire if I have to execute this plan B. I'm hoping since he is so young right now that he won't be too aggressive for the time being.

I hear you about the "hope" that he won't be too aggressive. I had that exact same hope!!! Again, I wish you the best, but, I am very pleased that you have a contingency plan "at the ready". Pom Pom knife is a fantastic fish and I'm confident that you will appreciate yours, immensely!!! Just make sure you are prepared to "act" if it's behavior warrants it. I got my Pom Pom, last month, from Jeff Rapps. Where did you get yours from?
 
Thank you very much I will keep a very watchful eye on him. I also plan on posting pics when he arrives and doing an update when he is all settled in. I have heard a lot of great things about Jeff rapps on here! I am getting mine from a vendor with the screen name "ichaban Asia Tropical" his website is aqua world pets I believe.

Mines was stressing out my tinfoil barbs so much they developed ich. I looked in the barbs eyes and could sense the terror they were dealing with lol. I had to move mines in a 75g with my huge jag, both of them are best buddies. My p.afer is about 14" now and I got it about a year ago at 6" long. It eats tilapia fillets, jumbo frz dried krill, and massivores. They are cool and look harmless but when those lights go out you can see um swimming about at a pretty fast pace (hunting a presume).
 
Well he got here today healthy as can be, I couldn't find my camera though so all I have is a crappy phone picture until I find it. He doesn't have spots like some of you guys have mentioned yours having though, do they come into those as they get older like a clown knife?

They do not grow into having spots. They are born either plain, with spots, or with a dappled pattern. No matter. Pom Pom is awesome!!!

Oh ok, yeah either way he's definitely cool, and surprisingly active for just being introduced to the tank; I figured it would take a day or two for him to come around but he's out and about checking out his new home
