Black scarlet pleco

Does anyone have a black scarlet pleco that is always black and red like this one, not black because it is stressed or black for a while then turned brown?

Also would an 11'' pleco harm small 6-7'' koi and bigger ones that hang out at the bottom?

I thought most L25s were that colour anyway and L24 being lighter in the body. The L25 I had years back was a similar colour to yours

Yeah that is an l25 7 pointer. Your going to pay between 350 and 500 for one that size

Actually she's costing me 650 without shipping

I've been looking at a lot of l25 7pt though and I haven't seen any as beautiful as her. I think she looks like a dragon.

Holy crap you should check out freshwatertropicalfishonline.com they have great prices and fish are top notch. That is an expensive fish. Mine is a 7 pointer and only cost 350

I hope she doesn't change color and turn mostly red. Do L25's usually stay the same color when they reach 11"?

Why would you keep this fish with koi? I'm pretty sure they have very different requirements
