These two I took the photo of look different from each other though and only the black stripe pike was labeled. Don’t know anything about piles but I really like them. I won’t buy a pike until I learn about them and get rid of my discus.

The one on the right looks sp bellycrawler and the other hard to tell looks to be in the saxatalis group. Not settled down. Black stripe is usually labeled for sp Venezuela or strigata. Gotta ask mrrobxc mrrobxc and Rocksor Rocksor and get their opinion.

I could very well be wrong but It looks to me that they could be the same but the one on the right looks to be washed out. I see a dark lat line but very faded- maybe stressed out fish?

they’re definitely all stressed. The big one was chasing them all around and every pike in that tank had ich.

Just seems weird that only one in the tank had that washed out color and the rest were like the black stripe one.

Lol. Sounds enticing.

Is it a dwarf pike? What I have read about a few of the different types of creninchila is that they don’t do well with same species, so that is probably adding to all the other stresses

I have no idea lol. All I know about pikes is that I really like the zebrina but they’re EXPENSIVE! Just reaching out for any info here at all lol.

The pike on the right looks like a stressed out C. sveni. You can barely see the ocellated spot across the body. The lack of dots for a juvenile lugubris is also missing, so it doesn't appear to be C. sp Venezuela.

Pikes are like oscars in personality, but much generally much meaner.

Agreed. It’s a Sveni.
