Should be able to the smaller ones with discus and not worry about aggression.

I have some svenis (and anthurus)now and they are bullies.

Dwarves like Noto's or Regina would work with discus, I wouldn't keep comps with them though. Dwarves tend to be seasonal though, usually early spring is when I see the most.
