Black Substrate?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I use pool filter sand, to me looks really natural and it's very easy to clean although it is sand it is a very large granulated Sand so it doesn't get picked up as easy as regular sand does. U can try supernatural by Caribsea it already has some of the bacteria in it to help quickly started tank up and it also looks pretty nice too. my moms take actually has it in with her blood parrots and it goes great I also have some of my grow out bass in there too it looks great with the greens nd the oranges and yellows is just absolutely awesome with the black sand but that is alittle bit more money, but it is really worth it. but if you want you can use black gravel if you want to, a lot easier to clean and it doesn't get kicked up as much as the Sand does. go on petSolutions they have some good deals on substrate too but the only problem is you have to pay shipping depends on where you're at you might be able to go pick it up. I have gravel in my 65 with some of my other grow out bass and it looks pretty natural to it all depends on what you want to do and how much you want to pay. hope you find the right substate everything works with bass too. Bass see just absolutely amazing and it just makes you tank pop just let us know and keep us updated on what your tank looks like and what bass you have in it. Good luck

Well I don't think there's white said either ;)

If anything Im assuming the "substrate" in the amazon is mud which is dark color.
