Wow, I believe in my original post I was only looking for anyone WITH actual knowledge. I am sure there are a lot of people with knowledge about blacktips, thats great. But, that was not what I asked and I did not say, Hey everyone I am here to make you believers. Some how instead of people that have actual knowledge of the subject at hand responding or pming me, I have everyone giving there two cents, demanding proof and flaming the thread. I am sure in good time the proof will be presented to everyone when they are ready, so please be patient and for god sakes relax. I will try and post pics asap but have been busy with my work. Thanks

I don't think any of us have knowledge of a "known" species of Blacktips that only reach about 30" in length.

While I've heard of known species of Sharpnose sharks that are that size - so it suggests that it's at least possible for other requiem sharks to be that small.

But as we've already pointed out - if your friend is dealing with adult Blacktips that small - then it's definitely a First. Chances are they've may have found a new undiscovered or at least an unknown "dwarf" species.

I PM'd you becaue I wanted details on the study and to aide with it.

I also know of a lot of "studies" that forget some MAJOR components to shark care that completely wipe out any chance of finding facts.
I offered to help make sure the study was done right.

From the information posted - it is not being done correctly, there for any information drawn from it should be considered inaccurate or incomplete at best.

Agreed. And with no data to back the study, no proof of specimens, and no viable information you are willing to provide, no further information can or will be "Shared". Period.
