How did the ornate suddenly appear?

Sorry, but I am thinking this is all a wind up now. Take a tank picture with any of the snakeheads in, and you will be taken more seriously.

If this all was true, then you are treating these fish very badly, and I no longer wish to advise you on anything.

CRAZY.

These are the snakeheads that ive got, the water is cloudy as i had to take out all of the ornaments in order to take the pictures for you. If it is cruel to keep these snakeheads together, theres nothing i can to do about it now, but it certainly didnt seem cruel until i took the ornaments out to take the pics for you at which point there was some excitement. I will sort things out as trouble arises as i have 3 other tanks. As regards to the snakeheads i just went by the advice i was given by the dealer as we discussed earlier.

Regarding you not wanting to advise me any more, well that is your perogative and i certainty dont need to be talking to anybody who doesnt wish to talk to me, as there are plenty of other snakehead enthusiasts on the web. So if you wish to talk again thats fine, and if you dont wish to talk again i can live with that just fine.

Cheers for all the positives
Daniel

The sub-tropical Lipor is the one hugging the heater

OK, the bleheri and Lipor at a stretch could live together OK.
The pulchra needs to be taken out.
The "ornatipinis" turns out to be an Ornate bichir, that will need to go, as the temperature will not work mixed with SHs.

I have many Bichirs that I keep with my Oscar, without any problems.

They are all incredibly stressed, you can see this clearly.
You say the tank is 4ft by 14" or similar. This is too small for the stocking.

As i said before they only became stressed when i took the ornaments out, one of the things that i have learned in the couple of days of having them is that snakeheads like hides.
Ive now switched the light off with the hides back and everything has returned to calm but i am aware that i may have problems in future by what youve said so i may change things around with the tanks.

Regarding the ornate fish, are you saying that it isnt a pinnis?

What size does the ornate bichir grow to?
