Funny - I’ve only ever seen them as Asian stone cats

Same. I always remember their scientific name, practically the only species (with exception of bichirs).

I've seen the sighted version reach @ 5".
Below, I snorkeled with them in Cenote Aktun Ha, and even at a small size they were quite aggressive, every time I flinch in the video they were biting my ear lobes.

I’ve noticed that recently while doing water changes the larger ones have been very aggressive and nipping at my hand
