Blind ngt dat for $70?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm a collector of high end fish not a charity were defective fish go to live out there life's

Just needed to say this ^^^ at the beginning and moved on T1... That would save us some dramas from your trying to convince people do what you wanted. It is just like in another dat thread where multiple mods had to literally shut you down.

There is absolutely no reason to belittle fish with some imperfections and especially their owners. I'm very surprised that at your age you still haven't learned the idea of not everyone is liking what you like for countless number of reasons, and it makes no sense for you to try to change that. But I guess you have rights to do that here...

No shutting down at all I was asked to stop by them so I did
As for buying a blind fish knowing it's blind that's just pure crazy
We collect fish and hope to collect the best we can much like a toy collector he looks for good great fish in the boxes
The OP asked if he should.buy a blind fish and I say no if that's not what he wants to here why even ask
The eye of a tiger is a very important part have you not noticed how they can move each eye on it's own in different dirrections
As for making people see everything my way that's rubbish for me I would never buy a fish with a defect if we are all willing to buy defective fish why do we even bother looking for stable healthy tigers in the first place we should all be buying the unstable fish with no eyes fins missing and broken backs if defects don't bother us all

Go buy it if that's what the op whants to here
What a great fish if that's also what he wants to here
What's the point in a forum if all we can tell people is nice fish great pickup when what you are thinking is a different story

I feel so lucky to have acquired a NGT with ease. I asked my local supplier and he was able to bring in a 6" within a couple of weeks. Congrats on your NGT Gage, blind or not, you have what you wanted.

Sure, but please say it ONCE only and you'll get your message well across...

I will just tell people what they want to hear from now on

&%$^ that!

Whats the point in having a forum??

I have to agree with both opinions here however... you make your point, then leave it be.

other members need to not take comments so personally.

I think that you are just missing the point.

There are people out there that want the oddball fish. I have several koi with only 1 eye, or they are missing a fin, or half of their mouth. They live a normal life, and they just like any living thing deserves a chance.

We aren't putting these fish in some contest to win a prize for being a show stopper.

If you had a show dog, but something happened, and he lost an eye, or needed a leg amputated, would you give it away because it no longer serves a purpose to you anymore?

Many of us find beauty in the imperfections, so having a blind fish is just something special to add to the collection, and make it that much more interesting.

Now, this doesn't mean that YOU have to keep these type of fish, because no one is forcing anyone too, but that doesn't mean it's ok to tell someone they are wrong for wanting to keep them..
