I agree with the majority of people here, if you want it and can care for it, then get it, enjoy it. It is a good thing you are doing. It is good it is getting a good home rather than live in a LFS, not recieving the best of care, slowly getting worse.
As for t1karman,
It seems most places he goes on this site - he causes an arguement over something. I don't know if it is on purpose on his behalf or maybe because he has a fish tank in a hut at the back of his garden he thinks he knows best. Or he is just a genuinely an annoying guy.
Its all very well voicing your opinion on something but when it comes to
'if i had a show dog and it lost a eye then yes i would care for it but i wouldnt buy in a show dog with one eye what would be the point'
It starts to get too silly. Show dogs and fish can't be compared in the same way to begin with.
Does it say anywhere he is going to be trying to show this fish if/when he gets it or in the future? Did anyone ask you if you are 'a collector of high end fish' ???
