Shrimp was the clincher for my Adonis. I fed him normal pleco foods like wafers, fresh veggies and seaweed, etc. Then I read Adonis are omnivores and give a small chunk of shrimp. Two weeks of battling bloat with salt, temps and fiber/peas failed. I'll never feed a pleco shrimp products again.
Check for more poo and make sure it's brown and not white, stringy or alive. There are multiple causes for bloat and parasites are one.
Are his plates standing apart, like dropsy? Or is it just his underbelly protruding?
Garlic extracts are to induce appetite. That's probably the last thing you want to do unless you are trying a medicated food. Stop all feeding until you get him cured, unless you want to try pushing the blockage (if it is) through with peas. Adding more and more food to an impaction could kill him.
Why would you feed him cucumber? It's not nutritious. Get those guys on zuchinni, man. It's loaded.
