blood parrot debate.

ive seen some restaurant that had 6 full grown in a 40 gallon. i find it animal cruelty. id say minimum 60 gallon. even if its adult size it will still grow a bit more after certain amount of time. so bigger the better.

ive got a 11" blood parrot and shes still growing so i would say they dont get 7-8" they get 12" if given the right aquarium conditions mine was in a 55g then i moved her to a 125g they have a much bigger build than oscars i allso own a tiger oscar and shes much wider and stronger than the oscar she allso producess tones off bioload they are very active fish they never stop swimming so i would say 75g minimun (shes one off are favouret fish extremely terratorial)

I have 7 BP @ 4-5 inches in a 220.

55g is the giving choice but he more gallon-age the merrier.

Mine is extremely big, I think they need a 75 gallon tank. I can't see him in anything small, he's massive.

55gal but like everyone said, the bigger tank is, the more happier for the fish. I owned a 9" Blood Parrot (sadly he passed away)

10 gallon FTW!

x2! they're already deformed and uncomfortable looking, they're not gonna know the difference if they're comfortable in a tank or not

So because they are different we should treat them as lesser fish....Like how the white man treated the black man as lesser people all those years ago? Go wash your bed sheets and stay out of this side of the forums.

Youre saying that a 75 is the min for 1 BP, yet you want to put 2 oscars and a BP in a 112?
