I just went ahead and canceled the appointment. It's just become stressful at this point because I can't seem to get the artist to listen to me. I'll have all day tomorrow to shop around at all the different shops and see if I can find someone to do this for me.. I really do like the one I drew better because I'm going for a more silly cartoony look. Pretty bummed but it should pay off later..

I agree. Go some place else. Find an artist who will do what you ask. Yours looks so much better. It seriously looks like he gave up on detail in the shape of the fins. His fish looks like a constipated koi

I must've made the right choice because this is what I got in my inbox this morning..

'I'm sorry I guess I just can't put my name on a bad tattoo. Sorry it didn't work out.'

I'm spending the day going around to a few other places. Pretty sad but it'll be worth it I think.
